[Nhhoa] Cable TV Question....

If you're experiencing missing HD channels and/or channels that are
constantly tiling(or pixelizing), your cable's signal strength may be
low. In which case, a cable amplifier may help you out. If you have a
cable modem/box, you'll want one with an "active return path".

If you have a cable box, you can check your signal strength via the box:
- Press & hold the "Select" button on the front of the box.
- When an envelop displays on the box's screen, press the "Info" button.
- If the value for the tuner (usually in orange I think) is between
-10 and 10dbm, you should be ok
- Press "Exit" to....exit

If the value is too low, you probably need an amplifier. If it's too
high, you probably need to install a splitter.

Hope that helps somebody. =)
