[Nhhoa] Governing Documents Voting Extended

I do not believe you can extend the deadline without doing a new mailing.
This is wrong, you have set a date and should stick to it. The votes that
have not been cast are no votes because the 2/3's need cannot be achieved.
This is a perfect example of what is going to happen with giving the board
more power. They will keep extending the date till they get what they want.
I do not believe you can publish a list to the public without it becoming
slander and a law suit to follow.

I guess over 50% of the neighborhood did not want to make the investment in
these documents to start with and so these funds could have been spent
better. I believe some of this is wasted already.

Sorry if you see my frustration, but for those of us who do not want these
documents, I do not believe it is fair to extend the date. The rules were
set by the board with a date and it is not right for the board to just
extend it because they did not get what they wanted.

Yes I have not resent my vote in. Mine was one of the first the board
received and it was given back to me in hopes that I would change my mind,
but I was not given another SASA to return it a second time. It is even a
stronger NO now that I have seen what has went on in this email string.

Governing Documents - Voting extended until May 1st due to less than 50% of
the 130 homes in the neighborhood taking the time to vote. That's right
folks, you read it right. We even provided you with a SASE to vote and less
than half the neighborhood has cast a vote, one way or the other. Some of
you even used the SASA to send in your assessment payment without voting.

Being busy is one thing, but the shear level of apathy is simply amazing to
me.

In order to answer any questions you may have about the Governing
Documents, we are going to host a teleconference on Sunday, April 19th at
4:00PM to answer your questions. To join the teleconference, simply call
toll free 1-877-396-6518. When asked for your passcode, simply enter
8191178#.

PLEASE take the time to vote. If you vote no, it would be most helpful to
identify why you are voting no. That way, the board can use the input to
restructure the documents to try to address the issues, while protecting the
investment made in the documents.

Sorry if you see my frustration. I hope you all know that the board is
honestly trying to make the neighborhood a better place to live. It just is
totally frustrating!
