change and the environment on the Board has everything to do with the goals,
outlooks, and personalities of those on it. </FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Ty, you're new to the neighborhood and I don't have
much history here. But, I can tell you that until the pool maintenance outbreak,
the problems in the neighborhood itself have been very small and confined.
The positive feedback has certainly outweighed the negative.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>We still have alot before us and, in my humble
opinion, think that the current Board's goals would improve this
neighborhood and protect our residential values if given the time to accomplish
them.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I urge everyone to step back because there hasn't
been strife WITHIN the Board. Together, the Board Members and Committee
Chairs have all worked hard to accomplish what we have; it's just alot
of it is transparent unless you're reading the monthly accounting, the
newsletter, the website, the email exchange, and attending meetings. Our
Board meetings are open to the public and we welcome those who wish to sit
in do so. We simply ask that you let us follow our agenda, finish the
business at hand, have respect for our positions, then share all you
like! </FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>We're a cohensive Board and come to the table with
a vast array of ideas and talents. But our consistent message has always
been that we need your help. Put history and judgement aside and
volunteer. The more committed people we have, the more we can accomplish
together. For me personally, it's been a great way to thrust myself
into the community and get to know people. Roger and I were here a month
and jumped right in even though we had alot of unpacking to do. I don't
believe I would know everyone that I do in twelve months if I
hadn't. And, it's been a great experience that I don't regret for one
moment. We have some really neat people around us and I've loved getting
to know them. Stuffing envelopes (no, it doesn't happen by magic)
together have been some of the best times because we talk and laugh
while doing it. One Saturday morning while doing so, a Board Member brought
us breakfast. You know who you are and we're still talking about
those stuffed pastries - thanks so much! </FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>The Board Members share an intense passion for
North Hampton and want to see participation and respectful, positive,
interaction thrive! </FONT><FONT face=Arial size=2>Don't point fingers;
come to the annual meeting with an open mind, and ask yourself "How can I
participate in a meaningful way?"</FONT></DIV>

subdivision for 8 years and I love it. I served on the board as treasurer my
first year here and I would never do it again. There was so much strife that
it became unbearable. It is very sad that adults can't seem to come together
for the common good. We need to harbor the energy to find solutions, not
attacks...</DIV>
