Hi, Mr. McCoy.  We had no idea that someone associated with the organization lived in the hood; it's good to know.  Ok, folks, we have five boxes sponsored so let's dig in and help our troops.

  As a neighbor and President of the Bartow Business Association I would like to say Thank You and I hope all of you will participate. We sent out 179 packages last year and hope to beat that this year. I believe the number is 8 that we sent packages to that won;t be coming home and recently one that we had sent a package to was participate injured in the war. Whether you support the War or not, these are soldiers from our area and we need to support them.Many will not be home for the Holidays for the second or third time.       Thanks for your support, Bruce & Holly! Three boxes have been bought for North Hampton within a few hours. - let's beat my conservative goal.  Please send, or drop, your checks to me at 64 Centerport with a notation on the bottom of the check "Operation Bartow Cares".  Roger (aka Mr. Treasurer) will deposit all of them and then write one check to The Bartow Business Association buying the amount of boxes we have donated.  I'd like to have that check sent no later than October 31st. We'll then publish the total number of boxes in November on the website.  Anyone having a problem with this plan, please let me know.
