North Hampton Homeowners,
We had a contract in place that the NHHOA's current board was trying to
renegotiate. After we could not come to an agreement we decided it was in
Aqua Touch's best interest not to work for the NHHOA. The treatment in this
email is one of the reasons why we chose not to do business with the NHHOA
President. Keep this email in mind when recommending someone to perform work
for the current NHHOA President, if they get in a disagreement with her.
The contract was not returned to Aqua Touch until Friday 4-25-2008 at which
time we evaluated the contract and decided not to work with NHHOA current
board.
The pool would not have open on time at no fault of Aqua Touch, due to the
fact the pool has not even began filling as of today. It takes 3 to 4 days
to fill and another 3 to 4 days to adjust chemicals in order for the pool
to be safe for your kids to swim in. The directions we were given to follow
as far as the new finish on the pool could delay the opening even longer. We
were not willing to rush the opening just to make a certain date.
Aqua Touch has always had the safety of the swimmers first because our kids
swim in the pool too. We have performed the work at the pool for the past 5
years with no problems.
Not to worry! Aqua Touch will still be testing the water and will be letting
the Bartow County Health Dept. know of any items we find unsafe since our
kids still swim in this pool too. Test kits are less than $10 at Wal-mart
and we would recommend any other homeowners doing the same.
"AND BY THE WAY" This also goes to show what is important to this President.
When it came to largest event this neighborhood has had for the past 5 years
and yields the most participation of any event, i.e. the Easter egg hunt.
The Easter egg hunt was done by ONE person and she stuffed & hid over 700
eggs for the past 5 years. We were told this year they did not have enough
resources. Not really sure what resource that was, since they had volunteers
step forward and they went up on our dues.
Guy's, most of you know me and Vicki, and you know we did not want to send
this, but after we were directly referred to, we felt the need to tell you
the rest of the story!
We also look forward to seeing you on May 13 at the annual board meeting!
Sincerely,
Scott Smith
