Pool Area VandalismRoger Are we filing police reports on this vandilism? If we are not then maybe we should and maybe if the police dept. gets tired of writing reports they will also become proactive in the neighborhood.

  Subject: [Nhhoa] Pool Area Vandalism

Yesterday was a very tough day around the pool. I came down around 3:00 pm and had the pleasure of finding a chair that was thrown in the pool and dog droppings on the pool deck.

Why would someone waste the energy to throw a chair in the pool? What does that accomplish?

I have a dog at home and she is too cool. But I do not bring her to the pool. Having animals in the pool area is a violation of the county ordinances and could result in the county shutting down the pool.

Then the story gets better. I got a call this morning from Walker Owne, our Amenities Chairperson. Someone took it upon themselves last night to take one of the concrete benches and throw it in the pool. It took both of us to get it out of the water. We are very lucky that it didn't crack the pool resulting in tens of thousands of dollars worth of damage, which would lead to special assessments to repair the pool.

I'm asking for your suggestions on how to stop this insanity. Please reply to this email with any ideas that you have.

  Thanks.

  Roger
